JIK Management Advisory Africa reaffirmed its commitment to professional development and the advancement of health, safety and environmental (HSE) practices through its participation in Safety Gathering 3.0, organised by Safety Campaign Ghana.
Held on Saturday, 26 September 2026, at the Gold Fields Club House in Tarkwa, Safety Gathering 3.0 brought together senior industry leaders, policymakers, regulators, HSE professionals, academics, traditional leaders, mentors and students for an evening focused on leadership, mentorship, professional development and safety.
As part of the event, JIK Management Advisory Africa supported the professional development of two HSE professionals through training awards in internationally recognised management system standards.
Supporting Professional Development in HSE
JIK presented two professional training awards covering:
- ISO 45001:2018 – Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems
- ISO 14001:2015 – Environmental Management Systems
The awards are intended to provide the recipients with opportunities to strengthen their professional knowledge and develop competencies in occupational health and safety and environmental management.
By supporting access to recognised professional training, JIK continues to contribute to the development of skilled professionals who can help organisations improve workplace safety, environmental performance and management system effectiveness.
Strengthening the Next Generation of HSE Professionals
Safety Gathering 3.0 provided a platform for experienced professionals and emerging HSE practitioners to connect, share knowledge and celebrate the importance of mentorship in professional growth.
JIK’s participation reflects its commitment to initiatives that promote capacity building and equip professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to contribute to safer, more sustainable and better-managed organisations.
The support also builds on JIK Management Advisory Africa’s engagement with Safety Campaign Ghana’s Mentorship Programme, through which the organisation has contributed to the development of emerging professionals within the HSE field.
A Commitment to Safer and More Sustainable Organisations
ISO 45001:2018 provides a framework for organisations to manage occupational health and safety risks and continually improve their workplace safety performance, while ISO 14001:2015 provides a framework for managing environmental responsibilities and improving environmental performance.
Supporting professional development in these areas aligns with JIK’s broader commitment to strengthening management systems and building organisational capacity across industries.
JIK Management Advisory Africa congratulates the two recipients of the training awards and commends Safety Campaign Ghana for creating a platform that brings together industry leaders, mentors, professionals and emerging HSE practitioners.
JIK remains committed to building capability, strengthening management systems and creating competitive advantage through professional advisory services, training and capacity development.
